Bam Margera, Andy Roy & King of the Plies Chaos | S4 E164

On this week’s episode of the podcast, we are recording LIVE from the grand opening skatepark party in Corydon, Indiana! The energy was absolutely insane with thousands of people showing up throughout the day, skateboarding, BMX, rollerblading, fingerboarding, live chaos, and special guests everywhere.

We talk about Bam Margera pulling up, Andy Roy, Jaime Mateu, the massive crowd, and the launch of the third annual King of the Plies contest. During this episode, we officially reveal all 24 KOTP 2026 challenges for the very first time.

This year’s King of the Plies is shaping up to be the wildest one yet with teams from all across the country competing for cash, medals, sponsor packs, and the cover of Plies Magazine.

You guys who don't know, King of the Plies is a online video submission contest. the third year going down in epic proportions. We're looking for the best team, the best video submission contest.

All right, the rules. Each team, three to seven people. One of the people needs to be a filmer or an editor. Each team has the same list of 24 challenges. Those challenges are going live right now. Each team is going to need to complete at least 12 out of the 24 challenges. All challenges will need to be recorded to count. Contest starts April 29th, 6 a.m. Eastern. Right now, if you're listening to this, six weeks to submit their video, June 10th.

Yeah. So what's the state? Oh my God. Each team comes into the cash buying and a sponsor pack. First place, $1,500 cash, medals, a travel trophy. The cover applies MAG and a USAFPL sponsor pack. Second place, $200 cash, two sponsor packs, medals and a USAFPL sponsor pack as well. Third place, $100 cash, two sponsor packs, medals and a USAFPL sponsor pack. Fourth place, two sponsor packs. Fifth place.

So we're looking for the best produced video submission. We're looking for the following key elements in the video. Showcase your city that you're representing. Showcase the team that you're participating in with the contest. Showcase the crazy antics in completing the challenges. video cannot be 12 minutes long or longer. Nothing longer than 12 minutes.

Each team will be judged by a panel of experienced fingerboarders and community leaders based on the following core criteria. Overall edit. How well it flows. Storytelling and creativity. Challenge completion. How well they execute difficulty and diversity. Team performance. Their involvement.

The chemistry, ⁓ energy and personality and city showcase, location use, creativity and setting and representation of y'all city. Who's on our panel of judges guys?

Hey, at a skate park, at one of these things. Alright, at a skate park, film skaters going over you while you fingerboard, whether you're sitting down, laying down, whatever. So, film skaters going over you, be creative with tricks and set up. the world is your table on that one. Let's see if someone kickflips over top you while you're kickflipping on a fingerboard.

guys, find a car with a sunroof and film yourself finger boarding or hitting a mini ramp obstacle while standing out the sunroof. Be safe, but go fast. Go fast!

Doing flip trick to grind slide on a random public toilet seat, adding a flip out is also acceptable. If you want to see a good example of this, check out what Faddy's did in their first video. The gnarly is the bathroom, makes the bathroom gnarly. The knuckles don't have to be, but like if it's disgusting, it's gonna be great.

Challenge number 16. You think you're jackass. Get kicked in the nuts. Go straight into a fingerboard session. Gary's known to get kicked in the nuts. think a little person kicked him in the nuts and did this challenge on a skateboard. So we want to see it on a fingerboard. Let's do it.

Number 17, the fingerboard man ramp.

Turn yourself into a fingerboard obstacle and make the main ramp your own. If you guys aren't familiar with the fingerboard main ramp, definitely go check it out on YouTube. We'll throw a little clip here in the background for you guys. Number 18, street transition. Find a mini ramp style obstacle or object in the, find a mini ramp style object in the streets and do a 20 second edit off of it.

say finger, you say Damodara.

Number 19, treetop sesh. Bring either obstacles or a small park and climb a tree and make a 30 second edit off of it. Number 20, Lodi in the wild. Complete a line of the year worthy line in the streets. Get creative, find that spot.

Number 21, call the cops. Do a three piece line on a police car in the wild. Is it hot here? Number 22, do a 15 second edit on an obstacle that is on fire. We want to see it. Bigger the flame, bigger the rewards. 23, polish a turd. Find a random dog turd in the park slash public space.

Build and bring a daily kicker or obstacles around it and do a 15 second edits over the turd. 24 last trick. Be grateful. Do a flip trick over a street great. High risk, high reward.
